By joining us as a Senior Buyer, Cold Chain , you will be responsible for meeting purchasing needs in an assigned area of commodities and/or services, including planning requisition review, supplier selection, order placement, and follow-up.

In this capacity, you will engage in supplier sourcing and maintain supplier relationships. This gives you a very vital role in helping drive growth platforms and supporting operational pillars while striving for long-term value creation.

As a Senior Buyer, Cold Chain, you will:

• Track and advise delivery dates as requested, and work with suppliers and carriers.

• Manage sourcing events and ongoing administration.

• Review all requisitions for completeness, description, appropriate approval, and delivery date.

• Negotiate pricing MOQs and lead times with assigned vendors.

• Procure commodities based on MRP, forecast, and history.

• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Product Management, and Sales in a matrixed environment.

• Establish new vendors and develop positive relationships to fulfill the requirements.

• Build and maintain reports of incoming and planned shipments.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related courses.

• 3 years of experience in Purchasing or Buying Electronic, Electrical components, or Mechanical components.

• Experience in dealing with suppliers internationally.

• Training or exposure to electronics is a plus.
