Job Overview:
The Cat Scan Technician performs high quality CT scans to all patient populations.
Qualifications:
Required:
High School or GED
Completion of an approved Radiology Technology program that meets the requirements set by the ARRT and the NJ State DEP
Preferred:
- At least one year of CT experience
Certifications and Licenses Required:
NJ State License in Radiography
BLS
Must be registered and certified in CT by ARRT
Scheduling Requirements:
Shift working: 4x10's (10pm-8am, or similar)
Monday-Friday and alternate weekend shifts
Full-Time
Essential Functions:
Perform CT exams on one of the two GE scanners
Make data entries into the EMR to charge and track patients
Safely administer IV Contrast media
Other departmental duties as assigned
