Robert Half Business Analyst Lead in Rancho Cordova, California

ONLY CANDIDATES WHO RESIDE CURRENTLY IN THE PACIFIC TIME ZONE WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE. We are seeking a Lead Business Analyst with a minimum of 5 years of experience in business analysis. This Lead Business Analyst role is pivotal in ensuring the effective monitoring and availability of our supplier services. The ideal candidate for the Lead Business Analyst position will possess strong communication skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work independently after an initial training period.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with suppliers, Global Business Services, IT Application teams, and the IT Observability team to establish availability monitoring for supplier services.

  • Capture and document capabilities that suppliers can support and report findings to the IT Observability team.

  • Document processes, standards, and deployments related to our Observability practice.

  • Conduct evaluations for approximately 100 suppliers regarding availability monitoring requirements for the remainder of 2024.

  • Collaborate with non-technical team members from sourcing and legal departments.

    Requirements

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst.

  • Strong soft skills, including excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

  • Ability to work Pacific Time hours, even if located outside California.

  • Experience in healthcare (preferred but not required).

  • Familiarity with JIRA (training will be provided if necessary).

  • Understanding of the concept of "Availability Monitoring" (not necessarily how to set it up).

  • Proactive and persistent approach to prevent system issues.

  • Ability to work with suppliers and possess strong people skills for effective communication.

  • IT experience is required, although an IT degree is not necessary.
