Eaton Corporation Asst. Engineer Maintenance in Ranjangaon, India

What you’ll do:

The incumbent will be responsible for leading a shift for maintenance dept. performing daily maintenance and repair of industrial equipment and Utilities.

  1. Supervise the maintenance of production equipment and Utilities.

  2. Maintain the facilities maintenance schedule.

  3. Perform and supervise maintenance related repairs.

  4. Inspect and troubleshoot equipment.

  5. Ensure all equipment is properly maintained.

  6. Review daily work orders and provide reports.

  7. Lead, train and supervise maintenance technicians.

  8. Perform preventive and Predictive maintenance of the equipment’s as per plan.

  9. Installation and commissioning of equipment’s

  10. Monitoring of Energy conservation.

  11. To plan, procure and maintain stock of critical spares.

  12. To achieve the functional objectives (performance indicators).

  13. To maintaining the records required for quality management system.

  14. Analysis of Breakdown and take appropriate corrective & preventive action.

  15. Deployment of MESH at VGIT

Qualifications:

Experience in Mechanical Maintenance in Automotive Industries, preferably experience in maintenance of CNC Machines, Gear cutting Machines, Utility, Furnaces etc.; Electrical knowledge a plus;

Qualification – Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 7 to 8 years’ experience or Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 4 to 5 years’ experience

Skills:

Understanding of manufacturing technologies and processes

Ability to coordinate and support cross-functional process improvement teams.

Proven experience as maintenance supervisor or similar role

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Must be a team player and work well with internal and external customers.

Attitude of a self-starter; ability to operate with minimal supervision.

Good interpersonal skills, particularly with respect to written and oral communication.
