Johnson & Johnson Technology Services is recruiting for an ITSM/ITAM Data Owner- Global Network Services (GNS), located in Raritan, NJ, United States.

Drive data-driven improvements in J&J IT Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and Hardware Asset Management (HAM) Pro on this Position. This position offers an exciting opportunity to drive efficiency, effectiveness, and improve change management for J&J's operational sources of truth - the CMDB and HAM Pro.

Key Responsibilities:

CMDB/HAM Product Management:

  • Coordinating and following the Configuration Management and Asset Management practice and ensuring CMDB/HAM data integrity.

  • Maintain the CMDB/HAM backlog for network infrastructure team ensuring it is groomed and prioritized based on value.

  • Partner with Technology Product & Service Owners to deliver new or enhanced data integrations, automations, and CMDB/HAM product features to support required outcomes and drive business value.

  • Main focus area will be management of Network Domain ownership within the infrastructure data class, supporting key company strategies such as increased transparency into technology lifecycle management.

  • Partner with ServiceNow Product Owner and Platform team to design, develop and deliver solutions.

  • Investigate and analyze incidents relating to data inaccuracy in CMDB/HAM and drive remediating actions.

  • Engage and collaborate with Network users of the mentioned Products to address questions, promote awareness of features, and improve data quality.

  • Serve as a Networking Services Global Change Management Owner.

Data Analysis, Visualization & Automation:

  • Analyze data within CMDB/HAM to identify trends, gain insights and find opportunities to improve data quality and effectiveness of the CMDB/HAM through automations and/or other ServiceNow capabilities.

  • Create visualizations to identify insights and promote action to improve data integrity.

  • Learn, experiment, and innovate using third party vendor API to enrich existing asset and CI records.

  • Supervise data quality audits and own closure with Technology Product/Service Owners in resolving data gaps (e.g., missing and invalid records) through appropriately designed solutions.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant work experience.

Experience and Skills:

Required:

  • 6 years of relevant work experience.

  • Solid understanding of ITIL framework, especially on Configuration and Change Management practice.

  • Demonstrated ability relating to CMDB and/or HAM data management.

  • Expertise with ServiceNow ITSM module.

  • Good knowledge of Infrastructure operations (database, server, network).

  • Proven ability to analyze data, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement.

  • Good experience with data visualization and presenting data.

  • Strong collaborative spirit and relationship-building skills.

  • Experience with agile methodology and usage of Kanban.

  • Good understanding of Product Management principles.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • ITIL Certification (V3/V4).

  • ServiceNow ITAM module.

  • ServiceNow certifications (plus).

  • Data visualization skills (ServiceNow Performance Analytics, Tableau, PowerBI).

  • Experience with Infrastructure data class management.

  • Experience with Service Now Flow Designer or Process Automation Designer (plus).

Anticipated Salary Range: $99,000- $170,200

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
