We are searching for an Engineering Manager in the Kansas City, MO area to work at a manufacturing company that has been voted Great Place to Work for the last three years in a row.

Candidates should have a BSME from an ABET accredited program and 9+ years of product development and design experience, including 3+ years of management experience.

This is a direct hire role with great benefits.

responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of engineers, designers, and drafters

• Oversee and provide guidance for engineering, design, and documentation of new products and development of existing products.

• Support research and development projects that produce new designs, products, and processes as needed.

• Work with the engineering teams for all product lines to improve processes, accuracy, and results.

• Effectively communicate progress and results for design and development work to the appropriate teams.

• Review all documentation to ensure compliance and good documentation practices are upheld.

• Make determinations for equipment, staff, and training needs.
