----Job Description---- BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager 3 Job for an opportunity at Remote, PST Hours! Position Title: Business Development Manager 3 Location: Remote, PST Hours Anticipated Start Date: ASAP Please note this is the target date and is subject to change. BCforward will send official notice ahead of a confirmed start date. Expected Duration: Contract of 18 Months Job Type: Contract and Remote Pay Range: $38 - $40/hr. Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.). Top Skills: * Years of Experience Required: 5-7 overall years of experience in the field. * Degrees or certifications required: Bachelor's degree in business management, economics, finance, accounting, or relevant field required. * Microsoft Applications (Outlook, Teams, Excel, etc.) 5+ YOE * Experience with collaboration across teams 5+ YOE * Experience working on multiple projects at the same time 5+ YOE Job Description: Assist the VP in day-to-day team management and oversee essential team activities. Job Responsibilities: * Needs and Priorities: o Collaborate with the VP to understand their requirements and priorities. * Hiring Process Support: o Manage business needs related to hiring. o Coordinate job descriptions (JDs) with admins. o Assist recruiters by reviewing resumes and coordinating interviewers. * Operational Support: o Handle budget-related tasks for the team. o Address offsite requirements. * Team Engagement: o Connect with the team to assess their needs. o Bridge communication gaps between the team and the VP. o Track progress of projects inside the team * Admin and CoS Coordination: o Work closely with the team's Admin and Chief of Staff (CoS). Qualifications / Skills required: 1. Self-Starter and Motivated: o Demonstrate initiative and drive. o Proactively tackle tasks without constant supervision. 2. Independence: o Work autonomously. o Make decisions confidently. 3. Tech-Savvy: o Stay updated on technology trends. o Adapt quickly to new tools and systems. 4. client Experience (a Plus): o Familiarity with client ecosystem. o Leverage previous knowledge for seamless integration. 5. Multitasking Ability: o Efficiently manage multiple tasks simultaneously. o Prioritize and switch between responsibilities. 6. Effective Communication and Collaboration: o Clearly convey ideas. o Collaborate harmoniously with colleagues. Skills: * Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, customer service and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work independently and manage one's time. * Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods. * Ability to apply accounting and mathematical principles to work as needed. * Ability to analyse business trends and project future revenues and expenses. * Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel; Enterprise Application experience a plus. Education/Experience: * Bachelor's degree in business management, economics, finance, accounting, or relevant field required. * 5-7 years' experience required.
