As a Software Engineer I/II in the Microsoft Dynamics Customer Service Applications team, you will work with senior business and technology leaders as well as internal business users and Partners to conceive, design and implement Dynamics 365 applications and pick the best technical architecture to solve their business needs.

Responsibilities

As an Software Engineer I/II you will be responsible for implementing features towards a wide variety of business applications and services within Dynamics 365 products portfolio as well as ensuring they are done to meet quality standards with the end result being software that is used by individuals and businesses throughout the world. In short you will do the following:

  • Designing and developing highly usable and scalable new application capabilities and enhancing existing capabilities to meet the needs of our customers.

  • Developing and debugging product/test code using React, Typescript, JavaScript, Fluent UI and power platform.

  • Troubleshooting live site issues as part of both product development and live site rotations

  • Ensuring high reliability of applications and services through intelligent monitoring and alerting

Throughout your tasks, you will work closely with Program Managers and other Software Engineers in order to optimize design, quality and functionality as Microsoft places a premium on the ability to work well in a team environment.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND proven technical engineering experience with coding in C++, C# or Java

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • 2+ years of professional software development with hands on exposure to web front end technologies

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python

  • OR Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python

  • OR equivalent experiencee.

  • Solid coding, debugging, algorithm design and problem-solving skills.

  • Prior experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in object-oriented languages.

  • Experience in developing, debugging and supporting code in object-oriented languages and database querying languages.

Software Engineering IC2 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $76,400 - $151,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $100,300 - $165,400 per year.

Software Engineering IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $94,300 - $182,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $120,900 - $198,600 per year.
