The job:

A Regional Market Development Manager (RMD) owns the transformation of business strategy into inspiring regional marketing that builds customer value, revenue and growth. We are looking for an ambitious RMD to join our EMEA Marketing team, with a focus on our Protein and Cell Analysis product portfolio.

The successful candidate will partner with the Global Market Development team and other internal partners, to develop and implement the EMEA marketing strategy across the primary & secondary antibodies and mass spectrometry technologies/platforms (part of the Protein and Cell Analysis portfolio). Together you will enable our commercial and distributor organizations to deliver EMEA Marketing revenue and achieve business financial goals.

Driving impactful marketing activities will be critical, alongside the capacity to work in cross divisional teams to build customer-centric workflows. The ability to demonstrate thought leadership and lead interactions with key opinion leaders within this field, is also key to this role.

This role can be based remotely (working from home) anywhere in Europe. Regular international travel - up to 25% per annum, including overnight stays - may be required.

What will you do?

  • Demonstrate insights into our customers and how our capabilities address their business-critical needs

  • Position campaigns with a “customer-first” point of view

  • Collaborate with our global marketing, regional marketing, and sales teams on marketing program development and implementation

  • Develop and deliver the regional marketing strategy & plan for your product area within budget, with a large degree of autonomy. Analyze marketing performance and use data-based evidence to adjust current campaigns in addition to creating new campaigns, where needed, to deliver against incremental revenue goals, accelerating demand in the EMEA region

  • Launch New Product Introductions (NPIs) to both direct customers and partners to achieve revenue targets, aligning with product management and commercial managers

  • Enable our sales channels (direct and channel partners) by providing impactful marketing, tools, and training to achieve financial and campaign goals

  • Regularly interact with senior leadership and perform detailed analysis & reporting around business performance, customers, markets, and segments

Who we are looking for:

  • A Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, in the life sciences or marketing fields is required; an MBA is helpful

  • Possess knowledge of competitors, products, and customer needs within the protein and cell analysis market

  • A proven track record in efficiently implementing marketing/sales plans to drive revenue growth

  • Strong record of working in cross-functional teams and operating within a matrix organization to achieve goals

  • Consistent record of meeting ambitious objectives and developing strong working relationships

  • Marketing campaign / territory sales plan development and execution

  • Digital marketing campaign development and deployment

  • Impactful communication, presentation, analytical and influencing skills

  • Ability to travel up to 25% pa, including overnight stays, in EMEA and occasionally Worldwide

  • Fluent in English; additional European languages welcome
