Providence St. Joseph Health Principal IS Project Manager in Renton, Washington

Description The Principal Project Manager is accountable for one or more large, diverse and complex projects in the areas of information technology with a focus on Revenue Cycle applications. Manages all aspects of projects with direct accountability to the ministry / hospital / clinic staff / project leadership and / or Executive Sponsor. Ensures projects are planned and executed in a manner that supports the Information Systems department and Providence organization. Providence caregivers are not simply valued - they're invaluable. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, project management, healthcare admin or clinical field. 8 years Project management experience in healthcare, information services, or other relevant industry or operations leading large, diverse and complex projects. Project management experience in healthcare, information services, or other relevant industry or operations expertise and application of Project Management methodology based on project management principles. Project management experience in healthcare, information services, or other relevant industry or operations incorporating process improvement methodologies into large scale projects. Project management experience in healthcare, information services, or other relevant industry or operations facilitating complex decision making among multiple executive stakeholders with different interests and priorities. Demonstrated experience as a speaker in a professional presentation environment, such as conferences and association meetings. Demonstrated experience in business development and/or strategic and tactical planning and execution including marketing, communications and financial planning. Preferred Qualifications: Master's Degree in Information Technology, project management, healthcare admin or clinical field. Coursework/Training Project management.
