Our National Security Sector is seeking a Cyber and Inventory Risk Management Specialist to support multi-agency customers within the Department of Defense (DoD) on Hardened Facility Analysis of adversarial underground programs. The selected candidate will be responsible for multiple roles on a highly visible, fast-paced, mission critical research and development program. This position requires someone who will be tenacious, innovative, and show a willingness to develop new skills. The work environment will allow the candidate to collaborate across a range of technical and functional disciplines, as well as engage directly with diverse stakeholders. The candidate must be highly detailed oriented and is encouraged to be creative in formulating improved workflow procedures, standards, and methodologies. The candidate will need to be able to work on multiple technical platforms and be able to apply sound judgment to complex planning, designing, technical, and organizational functions.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the forecasting and purchase of software, hardware, and services for a multi-million dollar program.

  • Maintain and regularly update the in-house procurement online platform and develop and present purchasing metrics, as required by management.

  • Conduct quarterly and annual inventory and maintain an inventory record system to preserve audit compliance with customer and corporate requirements.

  • Evaluate security solutions to ensure they meet security requirements for processing classified information.

  • Track, coordinate, and maintain records of software licenses and maintenance needs.

  • Using XACTA and other management tools to Assist development team with ATO requests, prepare, review, and update authorization packages in compliance with established procedures for information system security.

  • Provide configuration management (CM) for information system security software, hardware, and firmware.

  • Propose, coordinate, implement, and enforce information systems security policies, standards, and methodologies.

  • Provide technical support to meetings, workshops conference, and other outreach events.

Basic Qualifications:

  • TS/SCI with CI Polygraph.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 4 years of relevant experience.

  • Excellent technical writing, communication, and customer relation skills

  • Must be highly detailed oriented while working in a fast-paced environment

  • Must be adept at time management while working on multiple competing tasks

  • Must be a solutions-oriented team player and possess a high level of self-initiative.

  • Must be able to resolve complex, unclear problems and issues

  • Must demonstrate willingness and flexibility to provide ad hoc support to management and team members as needs arise.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years’ experience working within the Intelligence Community, Department of Defense, and/or Combatant Commands

  • Experience as an Information Systems Security Officer on a software development and integration program.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with current security tools, hardware/software security implementation, communication protocols, and encryption techniques/tools.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $81,250.00 - $146,875.00
