About the role

  • Our Human Resources team DACH, composed of 6 people, is integrated in the HR Site department and focuses on supporting the employees and the business, reporting to the HR Country Manager DACH and in collaboration with our colleagues from GBS (Global Business Services).

  • As the Site HR Partner for our Sites in Rheinberg and Epe, you will be located in Rheinberg and you will support and strengthen the business through your close connections to the Site Managers, Solvay´s people and businesses and functions.

  • You will get the opportunity to contribute to building our new target model for HR in Solvay and have a positive impact on our worldwide HR Community.

  • You will be accountable for:- Partner with local Business and functional leaders to advise on people topics ( organization, performance, development).- Manage labor and employee relations and social climate in own perimeter- Direct communication channel to Strategic Business Partners and our Talent Acquisition Team.- Support the Global Team in some projects on as-needed basis- Support in general activities related to Compensation & Benefits, making the connection between global policies and local regulations.

About you

  • Bachelor´s or Master's degree or equivalent by experience

  • 5 - 10 Years of experience in a similar role in Human Resources

  • Competencies:

  • Deep knowledge and understanding of the chemical tariff in Germany

  • Good English skills

  • Good knowledge of social and labour regulations

  • Good understanding of HR Processes and the Works Constitution Act, as well as experience in collaborating with German works councils

  • Digital savvy

  • Change management and leadership skills

  • Mentoring and/or coaching skills

  • Behaviors:

About the pay and benefits

  • Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. While the German base pay reasonably expected for this role is €104.000 to 116.000€, your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
