About The Role:

As a CBRE, Senior D&T Manager you will directly manage a team of technology professionals and projects focusing on information systems activities, including design, development and administration of applications or operation of voice, network, server, and desktop environments. Lead multiple projects or initiatives. Assist in the development of information system strategies. Proactively identify areas for improvement and initiates the appropriate action.

What You'll Do:

  • Leads, coaches, and trains a team of Digital & Technology staff and oversees multiple projects.

  • Documents procedures and standards. Identifies where procedures are not aligned with CBRE or audit standard controls.

  • Provides tiered digital & technology support for end users. Fixes technical problems such as application performance issues or network connectivity problems. Gathers and reports on support metrics in order to identify trends that warrant attention.

  • Supports and maintains applications, networks, and devices. Works with vendors to deliver updates, resolve issues, and manage the product lifecycles.

  • Serves as the digital & technology liaison for the area of responsibility, primarily for internal clients.

  • In partnership with a cross functional teams, develop the digital strategy & roadmap for future growth for Investment Management portfolio.

  • Use strong conceptual and analytical skills to generate insights and recommendations.

  • Work with stakeholders across the organization to optimize portfolio metrics and KPIs that support delivery of innovation strategy, refining as business needs evolve.

  • Superb communication skills to engage and influence senior leaders.

  • Makes things happen, takes accountability, drives decision making and focus.

  • Partner with multi-functional teams and key business stakeholders from investor relations & Client Care to drive alignment.

  • Drive creative solutioning by assessing internal /external capabilities and considering build vs buy vs assemble considerations.

  • Drive the overall governance and strategy execution including product and portfolio councils.

  • Develop operating model for newer capabilities (as needed) and partner with the Business Affiliates as well as Digital & Technology functions as we scale solutions.

  • Provides leadership and direction to business units in developing and maintaining effective and efficient programs. Develops strategy and roadmaps for business applications and for all business applications support.

  • Ensures that operational compliance is well led and meets service-level standards. Serves as liaison to business units as needed.

  • Works with the business and other technology partners to discuss and understand the implications of digital & technology initiatives to drive Data and analytics Strategy.

  • Follow established software development standards and procedures and contribute towards their improvement by having good understanding of the full development life cycle, development methodologies, and version control.

  • Execute projects on Agile best practices and embrace the Devops culture across the software delivery lifecycle

  • Implement Continuous Security, Integration, Deployment & Monitoring for the software products

  • Building and maintaining CI / CD pipeline using Jenkins or Azure DevOps in different environments and supporting large scale high availability web-based n-tier systems.

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university and a minimum of 6 to 8 years of related experience and/or training, including 2-3 years of management level experience.

  • 10+ years of applied, relevant experience in Strategy / Digital consulting, Entrepreneur, Technical Manager

  • 5+ years of architecting and implementing enterprise scale multi-tier web and Integrated solutions

  • 5+ years of solid experience in architecting, developing, and delivering data warehouse applications including data ingestion & management and advanced analytical solutions deliver actionable insights for business.

  • experience in Designing and developing Content Management solutions of enterprise scale.

  • Hands-on with design and build of next generation product using AI / Machine Learning and IoT frameworks.

  • Solid experience in designing and implementing cloud native technical solutions across multiple cloud platforms.

  • Design and Build Micro services Architectures using RESTful APIs and message queuing / integration platforms such as Apache Kafka.

  • Experienced in implementing, managing, and optimizing Salesforce applications to drive business efficiency and support organizational goals

  • Strong Working knowledge with cloud native database technologies (one or more of the following: MongoDB, SQL Server, MySQL, Postgres, Cassandra, Oracle, Snowflake) on cloud platforms.

  • Expert level experience to Modernize monolith legacy applications to highly scalable distributed applications on microservices based architecture and deploy them on cloud platforms.

  • Quick learner, high tolerance to ambiguity, Self-driven, hustler who can push through organizational barriers

  • Good understanding of installing and leading Document management systems like OpenText, Box and integrations with external systems like Salesforce.

  • Technology savvy with a passion for emerging technologies and how they can be applied to solving real problems

  • Proficient in leading cross-functional teams to deliver Salesforce solutions that align with business objectives and enhance user experience

  • Acumen for establishing relationships with peers, business partners and the external world.

  • High level of business acumen. Knowledgeable in relevant policies and market trends, technology and information affecting the business and its competitive edge.

  • Utilizes an entrepreneurial approach and develops innovative solutions.

  • Advanced skills in financial modeling, planning, database management/business intelligence.

  • Strong storytelling and interpersonal skills to evangelize their vision at all levels. Validated ability to communicate complex, technical information in easily understood manner.

  • Ability to write business cases, process maps, presentation materials and articles using distinctive style.

  • Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics across various levels of leadership

  • Requires expert level analytical and quantitative skills with demonstrable experience in developing strategic solutions for a growing matrix-based multi-industry sales environment

  • Advanced experience administering Kubernetes, and understanding of manifest management with Helm
