Amentum Engineering Coordinator 3 in Richland, Washington

The WTP Site Support Services/Distribs (S3D) operates within the Facility Management organization of WTCC. This position uses established automation tools (InfoWorks, Adobe, CHAMPS, ProjectWise, Scanning Software, SharePoint Portal, Microsoft Office, etc.) to provide technical support to the S3D Work Coordination department in accordance with established policies and procedures. This position will aid in the approval, release, status tracking and closure of work packages and work orders. This position will require extensive coordination with various WTP departments including Electrical, Civil, Piping and Mechanical, Work Control and scheduling.

This position shall be performed under the day-to-day direction, control, and supervision of WTCC

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES/TASKS

  • Proficient in the Preventive Maintenance program procedures and requirements.

  • Prioritize incoming work utilizing strong organizational skills, anticipating issues, developing solutions, and implementing plans of action.

  • Set up/manage/track assets in CMMS.

  • Perform various data extraction and report generation in CMMS, Excel, etc. including system weekly, monthly, annual reports.

  • Interface with internal and external customers to resolve questions or issues related to issues involving current S3D activities. FMR and spare parts management, assist in repair crew coordination and work document processing.

  • Represent S3D for interfaces with other project organizations on issues affecting work coordination.

  • Assist with evaluating and implementing work process improvements in related areas of responsibilities.

  • May be responsible for inspections within a specialty area and for the preparation of coordination schedules, material orders, customer service initial field validation, and post-repair satisfaction verification.

  • Perform Facility walkdowns to support S3D operational needs.

  • Perform all work safely and with the utmost concern for the safety of self and other employees.

  • Perform all work in compliance with requirements.

Education/Experience:

High School Diploma or GED and 6 years’ experience with Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) programs, facilities management, or operations at a nuclear or high hazard facility. Possess the ability to perform vital and detail control functions. Knowledge of a variety of operating activities such as purchasing, materials, scheduling, task hazard identification/controls, preventive and corrective maintenance, work control/co-ordination, work package development, review, and approval cycle. Knowledge of DOE operating policies, rules and regulations, and knowledge of industry codes and standards in area of expertise is desired. A working knowledge of Conduct of Operations is preferred

OR

Associate degree in Computer Science, Business, Environmental Management and 4 years’ experience with Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) programs, facilities management, or operations at a nuclear or high hazard facility. Possess the ability to perform vital and detail control functions. Knowledge of a variety of operating activities such as purchasing, materials, scheduling, task hazard identification/controls, preventive and corrective maintenance, work control/co-ordination, work package development, review, and approval cycle. Knowledge of DOE operating policies, rules and regulations, and knowledge of industry codes and standards in area of expertise is desired. A working knowledge of Conduct of Operations is preferred.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business, Environmental Management and 2 years’ experience with Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) programs, facilities management, or operations at a nuclear or high hazard facility. Possess the ability to perform vital and detail control functions. Knowledge of a variety of operating activities such as purchasing, materials, scheduling, task hazard identification/controls, preventive and corrective maintenance, work control/co-ordination, work package development, review, and approval cycle. Knowledge of DOE operating policies, rules and regulations, and knowledge of industry codes and standards in area of expertise is desired. A working knowledge of Conduct of Operations is preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

(EFNM) Exposed Field Non-Manual

Performs desk work, including writing, computer workstation processes, and telephone operation. Arranges for and/or performs presentations, oral reports, planning meetings, and other formal and informal contacts, requiring long periods of sitting. Oversees field activities through inspections, testing and equipment operations, which requires walking, standing, bending, and turning along with wearing of personal protective equipment. Occasional loading, transport, and unloading of tools and/or supplies specific to an activity.

This position is located at the Construction Site (22 miles north of Richland) and works a 4 x 10 schedule, M-Th, 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Must be able to work in the United States without Sponsorship

Must be able to obtain a Department of Energy (DOE) badge for access to the Hanford site .

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $87,011.43 - $133,126.59 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
