Our client, a leading innovator in robotics manufacturing, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join their team. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be part of the Product Design and Engineering Department , supporting cross-functional teams and suppliers . The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills , attention to detail , and the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple disciplines .

Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

Location: Richmond, TX

Pay Range: $40.00-44.50 per hour

What’s the Job?

• Design and model cable routing and harnesses to ensure no manufacturing/assembly issues

• Provide design for X guidance/feedback on electromechanical designs

• Qualify production processes using dimensional data, control plans, and PFMEAs

• Mentor team members and design engineers on best practices for manufacturing tolerances using GD&T

• Solve technical problems across a broad range of manufacturing commodities

What’s Needed?

• Proven experience in mechanical design or manufacturing, specifically within robotics

• Strong knowledge of cable routing, harnesses, and electromechanical systems

• Experience with GD&T and product lifecycle management

• Ability to lead root cause analysis and drive quality improvement projects

• Willingness to travel 30-50% (domestic)
