The Role:

We are looking for an associate to join Legal’s Chief of Staff Office who can assist in the generation of ideas and effectively execute on various tasks and initiatives that will bring our cultural vision alive. One of Legal’s commitments is to build the kind of community that improves our whole lives, not just our ‘work life’, and create engagement multipliers within our organization. This role will help create and build employee engagement initiatives and enable the seamless execution of these valuable programs. They will help us turn events into experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as task-based project manager for various groups and initiatives within the Legal Department

  • Assist with event production and execution of cultural events, learning and training sessions, departmental meetings, communications and operational management

  • Own associate swag and gifting program across Legal, identify opportunities to surprise and delight associates

  • Assist in the management of new hire onboarding, and congratulatory moment swag boxes, as well as, driving other gifting across the organization.

  • Identify and implementing improvements to the processes leveraged for executing on cultural events and hybrid work efforts

  • Track and report on engagement metrics that demonstrate the effectiveness of cultural and engagement initiatives

  • Own “air traffic control across the team,” ensuring that all events are identified, planned, and documented on the departmental roadmap

  • Provide communications support as needed and for ad-hoc requests and in close partnership with the Internal Communications Manager.

  • Support learning and development programs as needed.

  • Leading and owning oversight of smaller project management work and collaborating with teammates and other stakeholders on larger initiatives

  • Understanding the goals of Legal, supporting them in their work, and helping the team think creatively about how to achieve them

  • Manage logistical, tactical aspects of making ideas, projects, and events come to life and run smoothly

  • Uses experience planning large-scale events and meetings to ensure flawless execution on all logistical aspects

  • Develop and/or drive timelines on project deliverables

The Person:

We are seeking a dedicated professional who excels in organization and execution of cultural events for large and diverse audiences. Excellent written and oral communications, as well as a deep understanding and benefits of collaboration and partnership to achieve a team’s mission and vision. An attention to detail, and ability to adapt to change quickly are critical. Problem solving and juggling many projects and tight deadlines is key to success in this position. The ideal candidate will have a solid base of project management knowledge, a keen attention to detail, a willingness to learn, as well as proven experience achieving results. Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification

  • 1 year + of experience with Google Workspace applications

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of project or event management experience, or equivalent combination of these skills and competencies.
