Description Robert Half is partnering with a large government entity in Richmond, Virginia seeking a highly skilled and detail oriented HR Generalist. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in providing a robust human resources support and directly influencing the overall day-to-day management of a dynamic workforce. We search for a self-motivated and proactive individual ready to proceed in a well-paced work environment. Responsibilities: Support all internal and external HR related inquiries or requests. Create and implement effective onboarding plans. Foster positive employee relations and work to solve any employee issues that surface or are brought to your attention. Assist with the recruitment process by identifying candidates, conducting reference checks and issuing employment contracts. Monitor HR metrics (e.g. turnover rates and cost-per-permanent). Support HR Director in educating employees on and enforcing company policies. Conducting employee performance reviews. Maintain and update employee files as well as HR informational materials. Requirements • Must have experience with ADP - Financial Services

• Proficiency in using ADP Workforce Now

• Knowledge of ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode is essential

• Familiarity with Ceridian software

• Experience with Dayforce is advantageous

• Must be able to handle Benefit Functions

• Strong Communication skills

• Knowledge of Compliance procedures within a government setting

• Experience in Employee Relations is necessary

• Familiarity with FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act) is required
