Help us! A fast paced, well aged, medium sized, construction contractor with numerous subsidiaries has an opportunity in the accounting and finance department for someone interested in corporate advancement. This is a ground level position created by mergers, acquisitions and growth.
The PT Bookkeeper helps manage all finances. This is a shared, on-site position. Due to the confidential nature of the information being processed, off-site data contributions of any kind are prohibited. Responsibilities include maintaining the organizations revenue, and expenses, including the data entry associated with those accounts. The part-time bookkeeper will primarily be responsible for reviewing and balancing invoicing and payables. Familiarity (mastery not required) with FASB and GAAP are important. Sage accounting software experience is a plus. Experience is secondary to skills. Personality is paramount to all. While we are not looking for an entertainer, compatibility is an essential qualification. If, however, an interview is requested, be prepared to showcase your accounting skills. Desire for advancement is a plus.
