Today, we are recruiting for a Platform Screen Doors Maintenance Shift Technician to join our team in Saudi Arabia. This is an excellent career opportunity for professionals looking to join a truly international team in one of the biggest projects of Siemens Mobility.

• What are my responsibilities?

• Assist the engineer/supervisor in his tasks.

• Work as a technical expert within the PSD system service

• Repair and maintenance functions applicable to PSD system service

• Supervise in cooperation with the section manager and engineer the entire personnel within the maintenance section.

• Responsible for the maintenance and repair of the relevant equipment including software in

• conformity with the applicable technical documentation

• Co-ordinate all aspects with regards to the requirements for speedy corrective actions e.g., suitable personnel, tools, materials, etc.

• Assist in the repair of installations in conformity with the applicable technical documentation.

• Perform daily control of the subordinated staff within his service.

• Monitor and review of maintenance tasks reports

• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance including repair works under the supervision of the engineer on duty and in conformity with the technical instructions and maintenance manuals.

• Operate the special tools and measuring devices required to perform maintenance and repair tasks tools, equipment, machinery, and vehicles, operated/used.

• Personal computer and general office software.

• Responsible for the safety of the work of his subordinates and the equipment and tools

• Conduct the safety toolbox meetings if needed.

• Follow the safety rules, regulations, and procedures.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or any equivalent diploma.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position.

• Has experience working on projects preferably in public transportation.

• Fluency in both written and spoken English.

• Has good computer skills.

• Has the ability to train staff on technical issues.

• Has a good knowledge of tools and equipment.
