Today, we are recruiting for a Rolling Stock Overhaul Senior Technician to join our team in Saudi Arabia. This is an excellent career opportunity for professionals looking to join a truly international team in one of the biggest projects of Siemens Mobility.

What are my responsibilities?

  • Led and performed overhaul activities, including disassembly, inspection, repair, reassembly, and testing of rolling stock equipment.

  • Ensure that overhaul tasks are conducted efficiently, safely, and in compliance with established procedures and quality standards.

  • Provide technical guidance and support to technicians, assisting with troubleshooting and problem-solving as needed.

  • Assist the supervisors and engineers in the development of overhaul procedures, work instructions, and training programs.

  • Conduct inspections of overhaul workstations, tools, and equipment to ensure compliance with safety regulations and housekeeping standards and align with his supervisor for any support needed.

  • Maintain accurate records of overhaul work, including checklists and documentation of inspections, repairs, and testing results with the help of his working technicians.

  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of overhaul operations.

  • Able to work on shift roster plan.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in rolling stock maintenance or related field.

  • Previous supervisory experience is preferred with a minimum of 2 years.

  • Strong technical knowledge of rolling stock equipment.

  • Leadership abilities with decision-making skills.

  • Commitment to safety protocols and regulations.

  • Fluency in both written and spoken English.

  • Professional using Microsoft Office Tools

  • Acceptable knowledge of using the CMMS (Maximo)

  • Has the ability to train staff on technical issues.
