Today, we are recruiting for a Signaling Maintenance Shift Technician to join our team in Saudi Arabia. This is an excellent career opportunity for professionals looking to join a truly international team in one of the biggest projects of Siemens Mobility.

What are my responsibilities?

  • Assist the engineer/supervisor in his tasks.

  • Work as a technical expert within the SIG system service.

  • Repair and maintenance functions applicable to SIG system service.

  • Responsible for the maintenance and repair of the relevant equipment including software in conformity with the applicable technical documentation.

  • Coordinate all aspects of the requirements for speedy corrective actions e.g., Suitable personnel, tools, materials, etc.

  • Assist in the repair of installations in conformity with the applicable technical documentation.

  • Perform daily control of the subordinated staff within his service.

  • Monitor and review maintenance task reports.

  • Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance including repair works under the supervision of the engineer on duty and in conformity with the technical instructions and maintenance manuals.

  • Operate special tools and measuring devices required to perform maintenance and repair tasks Tools, equipment, machinery, vehicles, operated/used, all tools including special tools required for the execution of his tasks.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or any equivalent diploma.

  • Minimum 3 years of working experience in a similar role.

  • Experience in working with projects and preferably in the public transportation business and special skills (communication, etc.)

  • Fluency in both written and spoken English.

  • Good computer skills.

  • Has the ability to train staff on technical issues.

  • Has a good knowledge of tools and equipment.

  • On-the-job training.

  • CMMS
