Today, we are recruiting for a Transit System Warranty Manager to join our team in Saudi Arabia for the execution of the Defects Liability Period (DLP). What are my responsibilities?

  • Take the primary lead position in the coordination and communication between all stakeholders for DLP activities which will take place on the TS assets.

  • Manage, control, monitor, and report to client and O&M representatives on all activities relating to the DLP works throughout the Project.

  • Consult the subject matter experts (SME) to provide technical expertise to ensure compliance with existing warranties, design, safety, quality, and integrity of the TS, when required.

  • Prepare, update, and provide the (monthly) reports and documentation to the appropriate stakeholders.

  • Coordinate and obtain all necessary internal and/or external approvals before the work period.

  • Evaluate and report on technical specifications, detailed instructions, and drawings.

  • Play an active part in project DLP-related meetings and chair the same to ensure information is collected and disseminated to the appropriate stakeholders.

  • Schedule and monitor DLP activities to achieve completion within agreed timescales to meet project KPIs.

  • Integrate and communicate effectively with all staff, management, peers, contractors, and subcontractors as required.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge for the safe and efficient performance of all duties.

  • Participate in the health, safety & risk programs including risk assessment of work activities.

  • Carry out other duties as directed by the line management.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering.

  • 10 years of experience preferably with a minimum of 3 years of railway exposure.

  • Broad Knowledge of railway systems, operating requirements, available equipment, and systems.

  • Project and contract management experience.

  • Fluency in both written and spoken English.
