Objectives:

Perform Maintenance duties to operate and maintain HVAC and mechanical building services including automated building energy management and security systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate and monitor building Honeywell Computer Systems to maintain fire and security protection. Change computer parameters, as required.

  • Maintain required area temperatures and humidity by proper adjustments and balancing of controls using the Building’s Honeywell System.

  • Perform routine maintenance and respond to trouble calls on building HVAC and mechanical services.

  • Collect and maintain data and records, as required.

  • Determine and prepare requisition for materials and replacement parts.

  • Observe company safety rules and regulations, practice good housekeeping, maintain company quality performance standards. Report unusual conditions and problems to supervisors.

  • Perform other duties, as required.

  • Training others in essential functions.

  • Overtime, as required.

  • Lead department and/or contract manpower to meet or exceed customer expectations.

Preferred Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • 5 years HVAC experience.

  • 3-5 years’ experience working with Building Automation System.

  • Experience or willingness to learn how to operate / maintain a purified water system.

  • Experience operating a central chilled water plant.

  • Experience working with / troubleshooting electrical controls/ systems up to 480 volts A/C.

As required by New York State's pay transparency bill, Bausch + Lomb provides a good faith minimum and maximum salary range of compensation for roles that can or will be performed, in New York State. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For New York State, the range of starting hourly pay for this role is $24.00 - $36.00 per hour.
