The base salary range for this position is $88,640.00 to $115,232.00 and is dependent upon experience and location

Responsibilities

Performs technical, analytical, and statistical duties related to revenue requirements $cost of service studies, and other statistical analyses. Responsible for leading major, critical projects, including regulatory proceedings and other projects needed to support Company initiatives. Provides analytical support and advice to meet other business area objectives.

MAJOR ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Scope of work - range of responsibilities):

1. Prepare various regulatory filings for Avangrid Networks utilities in NY. Examples of such filings include Rate of Return, Rate Base, Financial Ratios Report, Earnings Sharing, deferral calculations and other compliance filings.

2. Provide support for Avangrid Networks NY rate case filings including determination of revenue requirements and rate base with an emphasis on fixed asset plant modeling as well as assisting with pre-filed exhibits and preparation of data responses to discovery requests.

3. Perform financial analysis as required for Avangrid Networks utilities in NY to determine reasons for actual results variances compared to NYDPS allowed amounts in rates.

4. Support regulatory research projects as required across all Avangrid Networks utilities as well as support special projects with department expertise as needed.

• Develops budget forecasts as well as revenue requirements and rate design approaches. Assures that all revenue requirement items are included and that the rates developed recover the revenue requirement.

• Assures the proper implementation of rates and assures that accounting for items follows the rate-making treatment.

• Drafts testimony and develops exhibits in support of rate filings at the State. Respond to questions from stakeholders during technical conferences and respond to written data requests.

• Performs economic analyses of capital and other cost-of-service studies.

• Recommends new approaches to cost recovery and rate making, including incentive-based regulation and rate design approaches. Provides guidance in the development and/or change of customer billing processes to meet regulatory requirements. (

Skills and Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree preferred. Associate degree with a minimum of 3 years relevant experience or High School/GED with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience required

• Experience in a financial, accounting, or regulatory capacity

• Extensive background in Microsoft Excel

• Familiarity with financial statements and accounting concepts
