Position Summary: The Renovation Turnover Technician is responsible for assisting with the turnover process of recently vacated apartments and residential units to prepare for new resident move-ins. Turnover includes but is not limited to painting, minor repairs, coordinating flooring requests, and punch list verification. Responsibilities include:

  • Assists Technician Specialist with the unit turnover process-including coordinating painting and floor covering replacement, ordering replacement appliances and fixtures and parts as needed.

  • Scheduling and maintaining business relationships with outside vendors and contractors.

  • Assists with conducting pre and post turnover inspections and working with the Turnover Team to assure all punch list items are complete.

  • Works with Building Services Coordinator to maintain timelines and release units.

  • Participate in weekly turnover meetings.

  • Assists with minor repairs to appliances, fixtures, lighting, electrical etc.

  • Assists with orders of parts, appliances and other equipment; confirming deliveries, tracking backorders, maintaining accurate maintenance records for upgrades and refurbishments.

  • Distribute and track keys and fobs for facility; make additional keys as needed.

  • Update and distribute Appliance Manuals as apartments are refurbished.

  • Attend in-service training and continuing education programs when appropriate.

  • Assist with property maintenance when needed including grounds.

    Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED.

  • Three years of experience in multiple community settings, supporting multiple employee departments.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook and Internet Explorer.

  • Experience with basic accounting.

  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing excellence in customer and personal services.
