Aerotek Maintenance Mechanic in Rockford, Illinois

Our Client in Rockford, IL is looking for a full time Maintenance Technician. Hiring on 1st shift!

Description:

  • Responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery equipment, building structures, pipes, and electrical systems

  • Will be following specification, manuals, wiring diagrams to complete repairs

  • Will need to have own hand and power tools, a scale, and micrometer

  • 50% of the time doing facility repairs including plumbing, HVAC, boiler repair and refurbishments

  • Will repair plasma cutters, saws and press brakes

  • Electrical: will be wiring in controls, clutches and drive motors

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • Plumbing/Building maintenance

  • Boiler knowledge

  • Welding machine repairs

  • Paint booth repair and maintenance
