First Health of the Carolinas House Supervisor in Rockingham, North Carolina

Operating in a highly accountable role, the house supervisor is responsible for maintaining the flow of operations among patients, families, nursing staff, physicians, departments, and external agencies. The house supervisor conducts on-site problem-solving and ensures administrators and managers are notified when deemed necessary. Furthermore, they work closely with other campuses to ensure patient care is delivered safely. In the absence of administration, the house supervisor represents them. Other expectations of the candidate should include: + Clinical resources to staff + Compliance to policies and procedures + Service recovery for patients, families and even staff + Determine staffing status by evaluating patient care needs and census, adjusting schedules or assignments accordingly to ensure safe assignments, with the minimal use of overtime. + Promotes effective conflict resolution through active listening, which involves careful attention to the concerns and perspectives of those involved in conflict. + Utilizes empathy to understand the feelings, needs of others, and fosters mutual understanding. + Encourages compromise and collaboration in developing mutual acceptable solutions to problems that arise. Current NC RN license required. BSN or Bachelor in related fields preferred. Minimum of 5 years experience required. Critical Care and ED experience preferred. At least 1 year of supervisor or management experience preferred.
