Primary Duties

  • Effectively troubleshoot & repair equipment and adhere to maintenance documentation requirements

  • Disassemble machinery and equipment to remove parts and make repairs.

  • Repair and maintain the operating condition of industrial production and processing machinery and equipment.

  • Examine parts for defects such as breakage and excessive wear.

  • Reassemble equipment after completion of inspections, testing, or repairs.

  • Observe and test the operation of machinery and equipment in order to diagnose malfunctions, using voltmeters and other testing devices.

  • Clean, lubricate, and adjust parts, equipment, and machinery.

  • Must be able to frequently lift 50lbs.

  • Record repairs and maintenance performed.

  • Cut and weld metal to repair broken parts, fabricate new parts, and assemble new equipment.

Requirements

5+ years’ experience working in maintenance field in a manufacturing environment

Experience servicing flexographic printing presses and blown film extruders is a plus.

Ability to work overtime as needed

Experience in a production, manufacturing, or warehouse environment under maintenance required

HVAC experience preferred

Must be able to read a multimeter

Basic knowledge of motor control circuits and VFDS

Basic knowledge pneumatic and hydraulic controls

Basic computer skills

Ability to stand constantly, excellent hand-eye coordination skills, strong mechanical skills and the ability to lift and load weights up to 50 pounds
