Revere Copper Products is looking for an Organizational Effectiveness professional to join our HR team in Rome, NY and build upon our performance improvement processes. Requirements

Member of the HR Team. Actively lead and support the overall training and development strategy of the Production Employees by facilitating the training and development of the Production group. Support leaders and supervisors to proactively participate in training and development using a behavioral management approach (BMT). Influence and guide the development of a high-performance workplace culture that motivates and retains machine operator employees.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Facilitate Continuous Improvement of Revere’s Production New Hire Training Process:

  • Reinforces high engaging observation process

  • Maintains visible production progress throughout the training period

  • Regular engagement with superintendents, supervisors and employees on the floor

  • Responsible for introductory training of new hires on cranes, forklifts and lock out tag out

    Facilitate Continuous Improvement of Revere’s Production New Bidder Process:

  • Facilitates the training of current production employees when they bid on new jobs

  • Reinforces high quality of engagement in observation process

  • Maintains visible progress throughout the process

  • Regular engagement with superintendents, supervisors and employees on the floor

    Facilitate Continuous Improvement of Revere’s Production Refresher Process:

  • Facilitates Production Refresher process

  • Works with supervisors to build refresher training into manning

  • Assigns observations of production employees while refreshing

    Creates opportunities in local community in developing machine operator positions:

  • Develops relations with local colleges, high schools and BOCES

  • Promotes and markets the reward of machine operator career at Revere

  • Applies community programs and resources that enhance Revere’s Machine Operator program

Other duties

  • Responsible for managing data and metrics on key production employee training behaviors to support Revere's training process

  • Required to report out in leadership meetings on findings and work with team to understand challenges and remove barriers. Work with stakeholders to communicate expectations to employees

  • Train the trainer Forklift

  • Train the trainer Crane

Qualifications:

  • The successful candidate must have experience building relationships to improve performance, a strong record of collaboration.

  • The ability to describe their experiences using effective communication.

  • Direct experience creating work environments where others are able to succeed is preferred.

  • Must possess a keen interest or a working knowledge of Behavior science.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Knowledge of Document Control Systems is required.

  • Must be proficient with Time Management and organization

  • May be regularly exposed to high noise environments.

  • May be exposed to extremely dusty environments.

Education / Training:

Preferred:

  • 4-year degree (or equivalent professional experience).

  • Have or willing to work towards the following

    Training Within Industry (TWI) Certification. Train the trainer Forklift Train the trainer Crane Behavioral Management Techniques (BMT) OSHA 10 Certification.

Salary Description

$55,000 - $70,000
