In this job, you will lead the management and execution oversight of Generations Capital and Operations & Maintenance (O&M). This position will lead various work management maturity initiatives in an effort to create a centralized planning model. A day in the life - Get ready to think big, work smart and shine bright!

  • Leads the Work Management Coordination team to enhance efficiencies and establish consistent planning, scheduling, and resource management methodologies for Generation work.

  • Develop and standardize workflow processes across multiple areas of responsibilities aligned with asset management.

  • Create standard operating procedures (SOP) for initiating, planning, scheduling, executing and closing of Generation capital and O&M work.

  • Develop governance structure to maintain the integrity of master data in SAP and seek alignment with other business units.

  • Ensure Generation's business requirements are met in the enterprise SAP upgrade.

  • Engages project stakeholders in process changes (Process Owner) and acts as the primary business contact for IT projects and system implementation.

  • Implements detailed Change Management plans to ensure process adherence. Determine modifications needed to effectively meet or exceed operating plan targets and align with the work management operating model. Act as change agent for these efforts in order to facilitate timely adoption of overall work management operating model.

The essentials

  • Ten or more years of experience leading or managing projects and initiatives

  • Five or more years of experience in planning/scheduling

The preferred

  • 10 years’ experience in planning, managing, and executing complex infrastructure projects

  • Strong knowledge of simple cycle and combined cycle power plant equipment and processes

  • Intermediate Microsoft Office 365 skills

  • Advanced SAP skills

  • Experience with Organizational Change Management (OCM)

You should know

  • This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.

  • This position has been identified as a NERC/CIP impacted position - Prior to being hired, the successful candidate must pass a Personnel Risk Assessment (PRA) or Background Investigation.
