Description

We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst based in Rosemont, Illinois, with a focus on the Manufacturing Industry. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity, where you will be tasked with enhancing financial decision-making within the company. Your role will involve working closely with the finance team and manufacturing team, ensuring smooth operations, and resolving any variances that may arise.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the finance team to check data from production and ensure everything is running as expected

• Utilize SAP, particularly the financial module, for product cost controlling and checking production orders

• Contribute to the month-end close and year-end close processes

• Prepare and present KPI reports related to production usages, usage rate, efficiencies, and personnel

• Handle challenges such as completing tasks within limited time, especially around the month-end

• Collaborate with the manufacturing team to analyze contract labor usage and find solutions to any discrepancies

• Participate in forecasting and financial planning processes

• Control inventory from an accounting perspective, understanding the balance sheet, and the entire process

• Develop and maintain cross-functional experiences

• Be prepared to work closely with leadership, possibly providing coaching when necessary

• Utilize skills in Finance, S/4HANA, SAP, Cost Control, Production orders, SAP Manufacturing, Manufacturing Industry, KPI Reporting, Month End Close, Year End Closings, Forecasting, and Financial Planning.

Requirements • Proven experience in the role of a Financial Analyst or similar.

• Extensive knowledge of finance principles and financial planning.

• Proficiency in SAP and S/4HANA.

• Familiarity with the Manufacturing Industry and SAP Manufacturing.

• Proficiency in Cost Control and managing Production orders.

• Experience in KPI Reporting.

• Expertise in Month End Close and Year End Closings.

• Strong forecasting abilities.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and in a team.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field. Advanced degree or certification such as CFA or CPA is a plus.
