DevOps Engineer I Job Locations US-TN-Nashville | US-MN-Roseville Job Category Information Technology ID 2024-8961 Shift US - Weekday days Overview This position reports to the DevOps Manager and is responsible the development, testing and deployment of automated CI/CD pipelines supporting Card@Once; a SaaS solution. This position works closely and in partnership with the Card@Once Development and Testing teams to ensure environments are in good working order. The scope of responsibility includes but is not limited to the following technologies: Linux and Windows based operating systems, CI/CD systems, deployment systems, and automation frameworks. Responsibilities Configure and troubleshoot Linux (Redhat/Centos/Debian) Configure and troubleshoot Windows (Server 2008/2012/2016) Work with development and support teams to design improved deployment, provisioning and integration workflows. Assist in the design of multi-server VMWare environments including IP address schemes, DNS, virtual networking Manage assigned projects and program components to deliver services in accordance with established objectives Respond to inquiries from staff, administrators, service providers, site personnel and outside vendors and etc. to provide technical assistance and support of network related functions and availability Troubleshoot malfunctions of network hardware and software applications to resolve operational issues and restore services Qualifications Competencies: Experience with Web API, Restful Services, and WCF Services Experience with industry common automation/deployment solutions, such as Octopus Deploy, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Cfengine, Jenkins, Git, Docker, Nagios, etc. Proficient in leveraging CI and CD tools to automate testing and deployment Experience with central authentication platforms, such as Active Directory, LDAP, Kerberos/IDM Virtualization experience, ESX/Xen/KVM, etc. General understanding of IP routing and troubleshooting. Experience working in Agile DevOps environment. Strong communication skills, ability to convey and document network related dependencies using Visio diagrams Elementary English proficiency communication skills necessary Education/Training/Experience: B.S.
