Presbyterian Homes & Services (PHS) is seeking a Director of Talent Acquisition to join our team.

The Director of Talent Acquisition is responsible for developing and leading the overall strategy and execution of the Talent Acquisition function by building capable systems/programs and internal/external sourcing partnerships, designed to bring talent into the organization at all levels to meet current and future business strategies, on a “just-in-time” basis.

REPORTING STRUCTURE

The Director of Talent Acquisition reports to the Director of Workforce Strategy and is a member of the HR Leadership Team. This position oversees the Talent Acquisition team and strategic use of specialist contractors.

The Director of Talent Acquisition works collaboratively with PHS Management staff, Site Leaders, and functional directors/leaders.

This position offices out of our Home Office in Roseville, MN but does have flexibility to allow telecommuting as needed. The Director of Talent Acquisition provides overall strategic direction for the design and delivery of talent acquisition to support long-term goals and strategic growth initiative and will work closely with internal partners to support, facilitate and protect the PHS culture and employment brand. The Director of Talent Acquisition is responsible for aligning the candidate recruitment strategy with business priorities and then delivering on the strategy with a solid focus on candidate and hiring manager experience. This position will source and recruit a high-quality workforce to PHS to advance the business by providing recruiting and selecting talent at all levels of the organization, with a focus on bringing compassionate and comprehensive resident care for those who are living under our roofs, and for those we serve in the broader community.

  • 8-10 years experience leading a Talent Acquisition or related HR function, Healthcare industry preferred

  • 4-year College degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field, or equivalent experience; PHR, SPHR preferred

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience supervising and leading teams.

  • Comfort and proficiency with HR technology: Applicant Tracking System (ATS), HRIS, sourcing tools/platforms, artificial intelligence applications for use in selection, especially high -volume recruiting. Ceridian Dayforce and iCIMS preferred.

  • Well developed communication skills – written and verbal, and ability to effectively present information to senior leaders.

  • Demonstrated organizational savvy and strong interpersonal/relationship building skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language to communicate well with all customers.
