Ferguson in Roseville, MN is looking for a Fabrication Associate to add to the team. If you enjoy working with people, are good with a computer, and have excellent communication skills, this position is for you!

The Fabrication Associate is responsible for a variety of tasks to the assembling, manufacturing, warehousing, and customer service of gasket related parts based off sales orders and/or as instructed by the manager. Additionally, we will train on our manufacturing system equipment.

The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday 8:00AM - 4:30PM

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain 100% commitment to safety policies and procedures

  • Communicate professionally with sales and management teams throughout the district

  • Manufacturing of gaskets

  • Process both work orders and purchase orders

  • Stock inventory, unload and load of the flash cutter, and freight shipments of flat stock gaskets

  • Sort, package, label, and stock cut gasket inventory

  • Clean the entire shop and work areas

  • Provide assistance in the pipe fabrication shop, valve and automation shop, or general warehouse

Qualifications:

  • Fabrication experience preferably in the oil and gas industry is preferred

  • Flash cutter experience is a plus but not required

  • A team player - ability to work closely with cross functioning groups and assignments

  • Be dependable and punctual

  • Takes initiative and possesses a positive attitude that aligns with the team

  • Ability to communicate effectively with peers and management

  • Good “Hands-on” working approach

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Ability to accurately use calipers and tape measures

  • Proficiency in math skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of units

  • Run a vast majority of equipment without assistance or supervision

  • Basic mechanical skills including the use of hand tools

  • Ability to read descriptions and operate a computer

  • Basic computer skills such as Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, & Outlook/email) and the Internet

$18.28 - $27.42

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.
