What your day as a Guest Service Agent can look like?

Every day as a Guest Service Agent at Hilton Rotterdam is a new adventure. You start the day with a smile and a fresh mind, ready to welcome our guests. After a briefing with your team on the day's events, you will take your position at the reception. Here you will be the first point of contact for our guests, checking them in, answering their questions and ensuring their stay is unforgettable.

During the day you switch between different tasks: from managing reservations to supporting guests with special requests. You learn to deal with a variety of situations, so no two days are the same! You are a spider in the web: you work together with colleagues from F&B, Housekeeping and Technical Services to guarantee a seamless experience for all guests.

In between activities you will take the time to deepen your knowledge of Rotterdam so that you can advise guests on the best local restaurants and things to do. At the end of the day you reflect on the lessons learned and the connections made, ready to start the next day with new energy!

You will be guided by a buddy with a training plan. They will teach you everything about:

  • Working with different hotel systems
  • Providing high quality service
  • Good interaction with individual guests and large (business) groups

Who are you?

Your friends describe you as a social butterfly. You are a team player and you excel in multitasking. In addition, you thrive in a dynamic international working environment. Furthermore, you are:

  • Someone with some experience in Hospitality. Front Office experience is great, but not required
  • Available fulltime.
  • Flexible and able to work shifts that start at 7:00 AM or end at 11:00 PM, also on weekends. It is therefore important that you are not dependent on public transport, so that you can get here on time.
  • Someone who feels comfortable to speak the English language. Dutch, German, French and any other language is always a bonus!
  • Curious and eager to learn. With our training you will master the tasks before you know!
