Description:

Training on 1st shift for 2 weeks and then switch to shift

Perform a variety of assembly operations and processes to make completed oil coolers using hand tools, fixtures, light power tools, and other equipment

•Follow work instructions to assure completeness and accuracy of assembly and finished product

•Exercise responsibility for quantity and quality of product

•Perform daily housekeeping assignments to keep work area clean and orderly

•Perform all position responsibilities in a safe manner and in accordance with all prescribed time schedules

•Support total quality management objectives in a team environment

•Perform other duties as required

•Reaching, bending, squatting, standing and walking on cement floor daily

•Ability to visually inspect parts for quality

•Able to read and understand process work instructions

Day Shift: 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. (less 1/2 lunch)

Aft Shift: 3:00 p.m. - 11:30 p.m. (" " ")

Mid Shift: 11:00 p.m. - 7:30 a.m. (" " ")

For the training, they will train on the shift they prefer to work - there is a possibility that 1st shift may be bumped to 2nd or 3rd do to seniority ** Currently working 12 hours after their training!!

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Must have:

1. Candidates must show a quick Learning ability -

1a) how fast can they catch on to shadowing another coworker?

2. Candidates must be able to lift 5-20lbs repetitively various times a shift.

2a. Have they worked in an environment where they have lifted up to 20 lbs.

3. Candidates must have good tenure from their previous job.

3a. tenure at last 3 jobs must be 6+ months.

4. Candidates must be able to stand on their feet for 8+ hours

5. Candidates must have manufacturing experience -

5a. 6 months of manufacturing experience (Assembly, machine operation, quality)

6. Candidates must have their own steel toe boots for orientation (day one).

Disqualifiers:

poor job tenure (job every 3 months)
