Robert Half Admissions and Communications Coordinator in Saint Louis, Missouri
Description We are seeking an Admissions and Communications Coordinator to join our team in St Louis Earnings Tx, Missouri. As an Admissions and Communications Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in the student admissions process for our healthcare university. This position will involve both on-site work and communication with prospective students. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Communicate with prospective students through phone calls and emails to follow up on inquiries and gauge interest.
• Coordinate with admissions personnel to set appointments and qualify leads.
• Host and schedule campus tours, providing potential students with a comprehensive understanding of our programs.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Salesforce Administration to maintain and update records of potential students.
• Assist in student recruitment through both campus and virtual communication channels.
• Participate in recruitment events, which may occasionally require overnight travel.
• Liaise with main campus departments as needed.
• Available for occasional nights and weekends for heavy phone outreach.
• Perform reception duties as required to manage walk-ins and leads.
• Distinguish between genuine leads and false leads through initial calls and follow-up conversations.
• Engage in more detailed discussions with genuine leads about the school programs to identify student interests. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Excel is required.
• Must have experience with Salesforce Administration.
• Ability to handle inbound and outbound calls effectively and professionally.
• Demonstrated experience in answering inquiries and providing information to the public.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be detail-oriented and able to maintain accurate records.
• Strong customer service skills and professional demeanor.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
