Description
We are looking to bring on board a Sr. Accountant in Saint Louis Park, Minnesota. This role is positioned within the Real Estate Property/Facilities Mgt industry and requires the successful candidate to execute various account reconciliation processes, maintain general ledgers, and perform other related duties. This role is also responsible for balancing sheet reconciliation, bank reconciliations, month end process, and managing journal entries. Salary up to $85K plus benefits. Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate customer credit records and process customer credit applications efficiently
• Oversee account reconciliation processes, ensuring all balances are correctly reported
• Execute balance sheet reconciliation and bank reconciliations accurately
• Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate and up-to-date
• Manage and process journal entries, ensuring all entries are correctly recorded and documented
• Utilize Microsoft Excel to track, analyze, and report financial data
• Conduct month-end close procedures, ensuring all financial data is accurately reported
• Utilize NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, MRI, and Yardi systems to manage and track financial data
• Ensure all financial data and processes comply with company policies and industry regulations.
Requirements • Must hold a minimum of 2 years of experience in a Senior Accountant role, preferably within the Real Estate Property/Facilities Management industry.
• Proficient in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations.
• Demonstrated expertise in handling General Ledger and Journal Entries.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel are required.
• Experience in executing Month End Close activities.
• Familiarity with accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, MRI, and Yardi is required.
• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
• Professional accounting certification, such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA), is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Ability to adapt to new software and technology related to accounting and financial management.
• Proven problem-solving skills.
