Robert Half Accounts Receivable Analyst in Saint Paul, Minnesota

Description

We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Analyst for a manufacturing team located in Saint Paul, Minnesota. This role involves processing customer applications, maintaining customer records, and resolving inquiries. It offers a contract to hire employment opportunity and requires a high level of organization and detail-oriented skills.

Responsibilities

• Accurately process customer credit applications in a timely manner

• Maintain and update customer credit records ensuring accuracy at all times

• Conduct investigations and research into customer accounts as necessary

• Make recommendations for account adjustments based on investigation findings

• Manage customer aging balances and work directly with customers to resolve past due amounts and recover unauthorized deductions

• Prepare deduction packages for approval and process them accordingly

• Coordinate with sales representatives, brokers and customers regarding deduction activity

• Comply with all relevant policies and procedures and recommend process improvements when necessary

• Process credit memos as needed

• Utilize skills in Accounts Payable (AP), Payable Invoices, Weekly Account Payable, Navision, Check Runs, ETF, Concur, Expense Account, Interest Calculations, and Account Reconciliation to perform job duties.

Requirements

• Possession of a minimum of one year experience in an accounts receivable role within the manufacturing industry.

• Knowledge of and experience with financial software such as Navision.

• Ability to perform interest calculations accurately.

• Proficiency in account reconciliation and bank reconciliations.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and in a team, demonstrating a commitment to team goals and objectives.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in business matters.

• Excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task, and attention to detail.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
