Description

We have a client who is offering a contract employment opportunity for a HR Business Partner in Saint Paul, Minnesota. The role involves providing essential support across various HR functions, including HRIS implementation, payroll, benefits, recruiting, and compliance. The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate proficiency in a range of skills, including HR administration, system implementation, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities:

• Support the transition of HRIS from Paycom to UKG Ready, including attending UKG meetings and providing training and communication to employees.

• Generate reports, conduct audits, and test the new system, with potential to perform some system configuration.

• Assist in all functional areas of HR, ensuring smooth operations across the department.

• Provide backup support for payroll tasks when necessary.

• Assist in the management of benefits and recruitment processes.

• Ensure strong compliance with all relevant regulations and company guidelines.

• Utilize analytical skills to solve problems, make decisions, and improve HR processes.

• Maintain a high level of professionalism when dealing with all levels of staff and higher education clients.

• Exhibit strong communication skills, ensuring clear and effective dialogue with all stakeholders.

• Be adept at multi-tasking, managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a similar role as an HR Business Partner for a minimum of 3 years.

• Demonstrated proficiency UKG Ready software or technically intuitive.

• Knowledge of Benefit Functions, Compliance, and Human Resources (HR) Operations.

• Experience with Payroll system implementation and recruiting.

• Excellent communication and analytical skills.

• Prior experience in system implementation is advantageous.

• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.

• Relevant certifications or degrees in Human Resources or related fields will be appreciated.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.

• Intermediate experience in Microsoft Office; specifically, in Excell and pivot tables.

• High level of integrity, professionalism and detail oriented.
