Smart Care® Equipment Solutions Parts Specialist in Saint Paul, Minnesota

Position Title: Parts Specialist Organization: Central Location: Nashville, TN Job Summary As a Parts Specialist, you will deliver customer service to the field to assist in the research and procurement of parts and supplies for our technicians and clients, as well as, aiding in the inventory and warehouse aspects for the organization. You will become a partner with our Preferred Customers by consistently delivering exceptional solutions. What's In It For You You will establish relationships with key customers and service technicians. Gain business knowledge of inventory and warehousing. Utilize your excellent written communications skills to produce documents, order forms, quote sheets, work orders, time sheets, receipts and truck stock inventory. Be in integral part of the enterprise Supply Chain team. What You Will Do Order parts for field technicians by reading source documents, verifying order information for correctness, and entering data into specific software fields. Produce accurate and timely administrative documents, such as parts order forms, quote sheets, work orders, time sheets, receipts, and truck stock inventory. Locate and correct data entry errors or report them to supervisor. Maintain logs or activities and completed work and store completed documents in appropriate locations. Receive all truck freight shipments and label upon arrival if applicable for your specific location. Daily check-in of UPS/FEDEX deliveries with communication to Regional Service Managers if applicable for your specific location. Daily check the warranty board for any new parts that need to be returned for credit and apply for RMA. Bi-weekly work with operations to ensure all warranty and non-used parts are returned to the vendor/MFG for credit. Process and place on WILL CALL all local order pick-ups. Follow safe work practices and accident prevention procedures. WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS This job operates in a professional office and warehouse environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. This role regularly works in outside weather conditions. The employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts in high, precarious places and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, ambient air, temperature extremes, fumes or airborne particles, traffic, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, but occasionally high. The Overall Physical Demands of this job are considered Medium.
