We are currently seeking an experienced Interim Assistant Controller for a remote contract role lasting 2-4 months. The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience in financial management and accounting responsibilities, including but not limited to bank reconciliations, processing Vendor Supply Invoices, conducting cash transaction reconciliations, and auditing customer accounts. A strong command of the K8 ERP system is essential for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Perform monthly bank reconciliations for all company accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness of transactions.

• Process Vendor Supply Invoices, verifying accuracy of pricing, quantities, and terms, and reconciling them with purchase orders and contracts.

• Conduct cash transaction reconciliations, ensuring consistency with financial records.

• Perform customer account audits to verify outstanding balances and resolve discrepancies.

• Prepare required reports and analyses as needed.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred; CPA or CMA certification a plus.

• Extensive experience in financial reconciliation and analysis.

• Proven proficiency in the K8 ERP system.

• Exceptional Microsoft Excel skills.

• Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy.

• Excellent time-management skills with the capacity to meet stringent deadlines.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• A problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to resolving issues.

Please note this is a temporary assignment expected to last 2-4 months. This is an ideal opportunity for a detail-oriented accounting professional, adept in Excel and possessing extensive experience with the K8 ERP system, looking for a short-term commitment with challenging tasks.
