Purpose

The Corporate Tax Manager will be responsible for U.S. federal and state corporate income tax matters.

The team for this position is located in Salt Lake City, UT, but we are open to some form of hybrid or fully WAH with some expectations for travel through the year.

Responsibilities

Your Responsibilities

  • Manage the federal and state income tax compliance for the US group of companies.

  • Preparation of quarterly estimates, extensions, income tax returns and annual provision calculation.

  • Manage global tax calendar including all U.S. Federal, State, and International estimated payment calculations and compliance filings.

  • Responsible for completing all state and local sales and use taxes and other tax compliance and reporting matters for the company.

  • Responsible for corporate tax accounts for financial reporting purposes to ensure activity and balances are reconciled.

  • Research, coordinate, and provide relevant information document request responses to Group, external advisors and auditors and Federal and state auditors, as needed.

  • Develop income tax accruals and associated information in accordance with tax laws and regulations and related financial reporting.

  • Review depreciation reports used for federal and state tax return filings and forecasts.

  • Collaborate with other internal Finance & Accounting departments during monthly/quarterly close processes.

  • Design and document standard transferable playbooks that document the team’s tax policies and procedures.

  • Actively partner with a variety of Teleperformance teams, including operations, treasury, legal, accounting, and finance, and delegation of work to offshore resources as needed.

  • Manage assignment of your time and resources to ensure all required deadlines are met.

  • Assist with transfer pricing analysis, including performing functional analysis and related calculations and documentation.

  • Participate in special projects and perform technical tax research as needed.

  • Communicate with stakeholders at all levels on project plans, status, and important issues.

  • Provide tax advice within the Tax team on strategic tax planning initiatives, legislative developments, and other ad hoc matters Able to work cross functionally and reciprocally with multiple departments

  • Keeps abreast of company policies and procedures, current developments in accounting and auditing professions, and changes in local, state, and federal laws, as applicable.

  • Research nexus issues as they relate to the various lines of business in multiple states

  • Manage and provide documentation as requested from customers and regulators.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting required

  • Master of Taxation Degree and/or CPA preferred

  • Minimum of 5-10 years of Corporate and/or Public accounting tax

  • Experience in a global organization

  • Experience with U.S. federal, and state tax laws and regulations

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office

  • Preferred experience with Tax Software, specifically ONESOURCE suite of products
