University of Utah Estimator and Scheduler in SALT LAKE CITY, Utah
The University of Utah seeks an individual with passion and experience in cost estimating and scheduling to support teams in planning, design and construction. The individual should have experience with new buildings, renovations of existing buildings, and upgrades to site infrastructure. This role supports project management teams throughout the project life-cycle with the preparation of initial conceptual estimates and schedules, all the way to detailed estimates and schedules as needed. This position also includes reviewing and commenting on estimates and schedules prepared by architects, contractors, and third party entities for compliance to contracts and standards.The University of Utah is invested in improving project delivery through collaboration and innovation, and you will have an opportunity to make an impact on delivering on goals and process improvement. The individual should have a working knowledge of material unit costs, systems square footage costs, and total building square footage costs in the academic, research and healthcare environment.The candidate should have a solid working knowledge of critical-path scheduling, including MS Project and Primavera scheduling software.
