We're looking for a Lead Mechanical Engineer who is excited about working on advanced facilities projects that enable the heart of our clients’ business. Join us and you’ll have the chance to work on projects at some of the world’s most state of the art industrial and commercial facilities. You’ll be accountable for schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks, as you gain familiarity with the client’s expectations, scope, budget, and schedule. This is a fully remote position in the US and will require approximately 10-15% travel.

In this role, you will lead a team of mechanical engineer and designers/drafters and will provide technical guidance and direction on the design of complex mechanical systems. You’ll interface directly with our clients to coordinate design development. You will also work in a multi-discipline, highly interactive team to successfully deliver on the design, development, application, evaluation, recommendation, and specification of engineered systems and products for building HVAC systems. In addition, you will perform all aspects of mechanical engineering and design and independently apply advanced engineering techniques and analysis within the discipline. You’ll develop designs that require innovation and ingenuity, and will be expected to perform work with little to no supervision.

Here’s what you’ll need :

· Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering

· Professional Engineer (PE) registration

· At least 8 years of practical application of mechanical engineering, including HVAC, psychometrics, piping, chiller, and related mechanical building systems.

· At least 1 year of experience leading junior engineers and designers on complex multi-discipline design projects from conception development through detail design and construction, including calculation reviews.

· Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to juggle multiple concurrent projects and deadlines.

· Ability to travel 10-15%

Ideally, you’ll also have: * *

· At least 2 years of project management experience.

· Working knowledge of Navisworks and Revit.

· Experience with large scale central plants and/or direct evaporative cooling.

· Data center design experience.

· Ability to be forward thinking, learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideas.

· Ability to collaborate and work effectively in multi-disciplinary teams.

This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations if remote. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
