Description
Duties & Responsibilities:
Perform PM Services on Caterpillar and non-Cat generators
Perform PM Services on diesel and natural gas engines
Perform electrical 120V to 480V load bank testing
Willing to complete all job tasks assigned by team leader, supervisor, and management
Perform minor troubleshooting and repair of engines, generators
Will perform minor AC electrical repairs
Required Qualifications:
Safety First, must have a good safety record. “Safety” will be this role’s top priority.
Must have an excellent driving record and have or be able to acquire a CDL
Be self-motivated, have good organizational skills, and exceptional work ethic
Must be very personable and have excellent customer service skills
Professional attitude and appearance
Diesel and gas engine experience
Ability to read electrical schematics
Must be able to work within given flat rate times
Ability to follow detailed instructions and accomplish work with minimum supervision
Must complete daily paperwork, and have good computer skills
Coordinate parts orders, warranty information, service reports, and documentation required to complete repair
Must have a teamwork attitude working closely with all departments and supervisors
Have the ability to work in high pressure situations while maintaining a professional attitude
Must be punctual and willing to work long hours, including weekends and nights as needed
Willing to attend various training classes to expand knowledge
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working on CAT equipment
Two year’s diesel technology training
Power Generation experience preferred
