Job Profile Summary

Performs general duties in and around the buildings of the facility including equipment installation, repair and maintenance, new construction and remodels.

*This position requires landscape maintenance and general maintenance*

Position Details

· Benefits Eligible: Yes

· Shift Details: Full time, 0500 to 1330 Monday through Friday. On call during winter for snow removal.

· Primary Location: Primary Children's Hospital

Job Essentials

• Performs corrective maintenance and repairs on defective mechanical equipment to ensure equipment operates in an effective manner. Completes appropriate documentation in a timely manner.

• Installs equipment as assigned.

• Maintains tools and test equipment in proper operating condition.

• Performs or assists in minor technical, electrical, carpentry, painting and plumbing repairs as assigned.

• Responsible for weeding, trash and litter collection, pest control and IPM, mowing and fertilizing and snow removal.

• Maintain perennials, shrubs and trees

Minimum Qualifications

Demonstrated knowledge of mechanical and electrical maintenance procedures.

• and -

Experience with a variety of construction and maintenance skills; such as minor technical, electrical, carpentry, painting and plumbing repairs.

• and -

Proven ability to trouble shoot and repair maintenance issues.

Preferred Qualifications

Trade school in either construction, electrical, carpentry, or mechanical

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

$20.60 - $31.37
