University of Utah Physician Assistant in SALT LAKE CITY, Utah
The Division of Pediatric Infectious Diseases at the University of Utah School of Medicine is seeking a Physician Assistant to function as a member of the pediatric infectious diseases team. The team currently consists of 10 physicians, 2 to 3 fellows, 2 advanced practice providers, 1 registered nurse; 2 medical assistants are assigned to the division from the department. This position will be responsible for delivering professional care to pediatric infectious diseases patients. This position will include patient care in the inpatient (consultations), outpatient (Pediatric Infectious Diseases clinic) and telehealth visits and consultations. The distribution of these responsibilities is negotiable. As part of the patient care team, this position is responsible for providing optimal patient care through effective clinical practice; education of the patient, patients family, clinical staff, and others; consultation with other healthcare providers.
