Job Summary

Directs, coordinates, plans, and implements stewardship and donor relations activities for the Student Success Advancement team for individuals, corporations, and foundations to help secure funding for campus-wide scholarships and student success initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee acknowledgment process and gift stewardship for all Student Success Advancement areas to ensure donors are thanked promptly.Organize and coordinate holiday gifts, condolences, birthdays, and other stewardship touch points for donors.

  • Manage stewardship cases and stewardship reports for the Student Success Advancement team. Run weekly gift reports and ensure that stewardship activities are tracked. Communicate gift reports with SSA advancement team and university leadership in order to coordinate additional outreach to donors.

  • Assist the Associate Director of Annual Giving & Stewardship with creating innovative and meaningful ways to thank donors for their support of scholarships and other student success initiatives. Write thank you letters and create content for impact reports and other stewardship projects.

  • Manage a portfolio of Individual Stewardship Plans for top donors. Plan donor events and other recognition opportunities.

  • Coordinate closely with University Advancement Director of Donor Relations on annual endowment reporting strategy and implementation.

  • Other stewardship projects as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience (One year of education is equivalent to two years of experience).

  • Two years of related experience.

Preferences

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, related field, or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience); two years of fund-raising experience with a preference for stewardship experience, demonstrated excellent writing and design skills, event and project management experience, and strong interpersonal communication skills.
