- Assist with personal care such as bathing, bathroom functions, dressing, grooming and eating.
- Filling a prescribed healthcare plan which includes assisting with exercises and administering medications.
- Ensuring the patients home is organized according to their needs and safety measures are in place.
- Assist with house chores such as washing dishes, laundry, sweeping/dusting, mopping.
- Providing emotional support and encouragement to perform certain tasks.
- Providing mobility assistance such as assisting the patient in and out of bed, shower and the wheelchair.
- Monitoring and reporting changes in behavior, health or needs.
- Checking and recording patients vitals daily.
